my many, many fall favorites <3

this list has it all: tried and true products, new ones that i’ve recently tried and loved, and things i’ve been yearning to receive as birthday gifts 🙂 alternative options~ can be found on my storefront!

dairy boy cotton jersey sheets

i honestly wasn’t sure about how the quality of these would be, but as someone who is extremely picky with bedding and gets hot easily, these have been my favorite sheets i have ever purchased. not only are they super cute, but they are the perfect mixture of being lightweight enough to not make you sweat, but thick enough to keep you warm and comfy at night. cotton jersey knit is also superior, so you already know they are SO soft. i always dread them being washed since none of my other sets compare 😀

red ballet flats

i’ve always been obsessed with the color red and quite literally anything that comes in it, but there’s something about red ballet flats with little bows that i cannot get over. one thing about me in my post-grad era is that i’m prioritizing class, so what i love about these is that no matter the color, they are guaranteed to elevate a look by making it more fun and bold without sacrificing any classiness. you can wear them to work, on a date, or on a girls night out on the town and still look amazing! jcrew has satin ones that are adorable and so unique and steve madden has heeled ones for shorties like me who get insecure with flat shoes (don’t worry they have normal ones too).

ugg ultra mini platform boots

i’m 5’2, so i’m going to take advantage of the platform trend whenever i can. i absolutely love my thick platform ultra minis that look like horse hooves, but make me feel like a tall goddess. i’ve been holding myself back from getting another pair because i know my one black pair is more than enough for the season (and there’s cheaper alternatives on amazon, link in bio !!). but if you were blessed with tall genes and can’t afford the extra inches, the classic ultra minis are just as cute (and also available on amazon).

david yurman jewelry

i know what you’re thinking, but i also know that at one point or another, you are going to want a nice piece of jewelry. if you’re anything like me and find yourself taking the bait of designer brands, let me save you and your wallet’s pain and tell you that most designer jewelry isn’t great quality and ends up tarnishing after about a year or so. after trying a wide range of brands and spending more money than i’d like to admit on pieces (after others kept tarnishing), my pieces from david yurman have kept up the best. they are classy, elegant, and timeless which is perfect for the post-grad era i’m sure most reading this are in. no one wants to see flashy logos and usually those pieces are the ones that are the most expensive and, ironically, tarnish the fastest.

accessories

i probably should have done a separate post about this, but i honestly think i love adding accessories more than putting together actual outfits. especially in the fall, its so fun to play around with hats, scarves, sunglasses, jewelry, fun socks, etc. because the weather is so varied. free people is a great place to shop for fall accessories and i personally have been loving their super thick striped headbands. i’m also obsessed with the ralph lauren bear socks that are all over pinterest and will 100% be caving and wearing them with anything and everything this fall 🙂

replica “by the fireplace” candle

if you’re looking for a candle that embodies fall, this is it. its my favorite candle scent of all time and is the epitome of warm and cozy. if you’re not a fan of the potent, artificial bed bath and beyond fall scents, i would definitely give this one a try. ***warning; replica recently came out with an “autumn vibes” scent, which is similar but definitely not the same, but sephora sells them in store, so you should be able to go and try them both for yourself. this brand in general is genius and has done amazing with creating nostalgic scents, like this one. other favorites of mine are “bubble bath,” “beach walk,” and “on a date.”

chunky sweaters

chunky sweaters are an obvious staple for fall. i’ve always found it hard to find just one that wasn’t 1.) extremely overpriced 2.) affordable but not too cheap looking or 3.) too itchy. that was until i bought the rumored nonna sweater. every single time i wear it, i get loads of compliments. its slightly off-the-shoulder and the perfect amount of chunky, making it super flattering. the knit is lightweight, so its not itchy at all and is breathable so you’re not dripping sweat on warmer days. this brand is truly a hidden gem and hand-makes every piece, which is even more impressive considering its affordable and amazing quality.

birkenstock boston clogs

i was a firm opponent of these for awhile, until i gave in, due to the convenience and versatility. they’re an excuse to wear slip-on shoes to fancy occasions, so why not? i initially received the ones with fur for christmas and loved them so much that i bought the classic ones without fur to wear this summer. like i’ve previously said, a huge theme of mine recently has been to look more classy and put together, and these are an easy way to do just that. i certainly feel much more sophisticated slipping these bad boys on as opposed to my raggady ugg slippers or adidas slides. i will say that while the fur ones are more suitable for the cooler months and slightly more comfy, the ones without are definitely more versatile and worth your coin if you’re between the two 🙂

cardigans

this is another trend that i’ve been loving recently, specifically red cardigans (with red ballet flats…how cute???). i bought a bunch from gap factory that do the job, but edikted also has one that is very cute if you need another option. i also have one linked in my storefront if you need one delivered asap with prime.

slouchy hobo tote bag

i’ve recently become obsessed with this trend and its at the top of my birthday list this year. i love how effortlessly chic this bag makes you look, especially when using it as a work bag. this one from anthropologie is to die for, especially in the burgundy color that’s perfect for fall. and its big enough to fit a laptop and a bunch of other things. there’s also plenty of dupes, which i’ve linked on my storefront 🙂

adidas sambas

i was always a sambas hater, because i thought my short self wouldn’t be able to pull them off, but my friend recently convinced me into buying them for work. whenever you can argue versatility, just know i will be convinced 99% of the time. these are the definition of versatile, as you can dress them up with trousers and a blazer for work one day, and then dress them down with baggy jeans and a t-shirt for a coffee date the next. i’ve found that the only way i’m able to make them work well with my flat feet and short legs is when i wear them with baggier pants, but we still love them 🙂
